Heritage Celebration: Save the Date

Heritage Celebration

As our thoughts turn to Autumn, we think of events such as Grandparents Day and Thanksgiving. We are also beginning preparation for our Heritage Celebration. You should have recently received a “save the date” postcard asking you to place this special event on your calendar.
 
The school has held a Heritage Event for as long as I can remember. The Celebration is a fundraising event and a time for all connected in some way to Grace Academy, to come together to celebrate what God is doing in the life of the school. There will be food, students performing musical numbers and recitations, as well as a video and slide presentation showcasing our students and our mission.
 
You may wonder why we are holding this event so close to last March's Heritage Celebration. During Covid, we were prevented from having such gatherings, so to get back into the swing of things, we held our annual event last Spring. We are moving Heritage back to its rightful home this school year in early November.
 
We will be raising money to support student scholarships. We desire to remove any obstacle preventing a family seeking excellent biblical education from becoming a part of the Academy family. We will also be starting construction on the playground update in Summer 2024. So we will be raising funds for brand-new playground equipment.
 
So, add us to your calendar and watch for your official invitation. We look forward to seeing you Friday, November 3.
