Each year, Grace Academy hosts a fundraiser that we call the Heritage Celebration. The night is important because it is our means of raising extra funds that we need to have an excellent school. Beyond raising funds, could the night have a greater purpose?

Today, after a wonderful morning of visiting the Hereford Cathedral and the home of our coach driver, Richard, we traveled to Stratford-Upon-Avon for a tour of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) theatre. We arrived just in time for our tour and started learning about the history its history.

The public transport system for any successful city should be centered around efficiency, and London’s underground, or “The Tube”, is a great example of smooth and effective transportation.

This day started off with a long trip to the Roman Baths. Once in Bath, we made a quick stop, to see the Royal Crescent, a magnificent apartment building of 30 residences built in the mid-18th century.

On Tuesday we went to Cardiff Castle in Wales. It was built in the late eleventh century. We started off by going through the castle walls that had been used as an air raid bomb shelter in WWII.

Today, the 4th day, I woke up with tons of energy and really excited to explore France! Got ready to go and went down to the hotel lobby for breakfast, first a French croissant.. holy cow, it was just as I imagined.
