Our DC Trip
When I was seven years old, our country celebrated its bicentennial. My parents and grandparents took our family on a historical east coast tour. It changed my life. Even at a young age, seeing history come to life was exceptional. I value that trip and what I learned even more now as an adult.
Every odd school year, I have the privilege of leading students and their families on a seven-day east coast tour. (We just returned.) We visit some unique sites: Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Mount Vernon. This is a small sample of a once-in-a-lifetime tour. The trip is open to fifth through twelfth-grade students and their families. I have brought my brother, parents, wife, children, aunts and uncles, and friends. It is a week you will never forget, rich with history and a biblical worldview of God’s hand in our nation's founding.

Our UK Trip
Our juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to travel to the UK and France in the Spring of 2025. This, too, is a life-changing event. Sixteen days traveling throughout England, Scotland, and France. Students will experience history on another level: from the beaches at Normandy to the home of C.S. Lewis to the Tower of London and Edinburgh Castle.
These students, who have seen little past their backyards, will interact with the world in ways they haven’t previously. Meeting new people, managing money, and experiencing new cultures will help prepare them for the world after graduation.
This trip is open to juniors and seniors only. Grace Academy administrators and teachers will guide them over sixteen days. Please watch for more information in the coming weeks as we prepare for our next UK/France trip.
