We are pleased to welcome our new and returning families to Grace Academy for the 2024-2025 school year!
I am excited for each student taught and ministered to by our committed, hard-working, God-loving Grace Academy staff and faculty. We pray that every student will grow spiritually and academically as they attend classes and chapels and participate in many activities throughout their school day.
We have had another busy summer with facility improvements, all made possible by the support and dedication of our school community. The biggest project was the building of a new playground. We had struggled for years with water drainage and our bark layers disintegrating into mud. We are thrilled that we now have new artificial surfaces and an undercover play area. The covered play area will make rainy day indoor recess a thing of the past as the children will be able to play outside rain or shine and our new surfaces will help our students stay safe. Although the playground will need a few more weeks to complete, we know the end product will be worth it and benefit our entire community.
The roof of Building E, the Activity Center, was retrofitted to prevent leaks. A plethora of cleaning, landscaping, and painting projects have been going on, and the staff lounge in the administration building received a facelift.
While we are thankful for all of the amazing facility improvements, we understand that these are buildings provided by God for us to use to educate and impact students. The real work of the school is in the hearts and minds of our students. As we embark on the coming year, we want to remind you of our mission: educating for life and impacting for eternity. We appreciate your prayers and support as we continue to fulfill this mission, knowing that we are all participants in this important work.
