It has been an extreme pleasure to serve you and a true honor to have been entrusted with the precious treasure of your children this year.
As the school year comes to an end, we take stock of all that has transpired since September 3, 2025. We have experienced concerts, fairs, field trips, countless dress-up days, parties, sports, and so much more. Not to mention the day-to-day items, such as homework, reports, projects, skinned knees, and the cold-and-flu season. So many things navigated together as Grace Academy has sought to partner with families.
I want to express my gratitude to every family from kindergarten all the way up to the class of 2026. It has been an extreme pleasure to serve you and a true honor to have been entrusted with the precious treasure of your children. We do not take that responsibility for granted.
As we say “adieu” to the school year and “bienvenue” to summer, may I encourage you to make the most of your child’s time? To keep their minds sharp, limit screen time. Get them outside, take trips (both near and far), and have a great time with friends and family face-to-face. Take the opportunity to spend time with them. Maybe just playing catch, throwing a Frisbee, or simply taking a walk. In addition, have them read a book and/or read to them. Practice math facts or engage a tutor. Even weekly tutoring would help both encourage growth and keep them prepared for the coming school year. Above all else, keep them in the Bible. Do not take the summer off from church. Have meals together at the table and begin, not only with prayer, but with Scripture or a devotional.
We are excited to pause and polish up the campus for the 2026-2027 school year. Many projects will take place over the summer, including the installation of our new sound system. Curriculum and classrooms will be ready and waiting as you walk back on campus to celebrate our 50th birthday as a school and praise God for His faithfulness.
May God bless you. We’ll see you next year! We’re looking forward to it!
