Checking In

God has been good to us at Grace Academy.

Checking In

I walked past the playground the other day and realized I rarely visit that part of the campus. Since I deal mainly with Secondary issues, this is the case. I often hear the elementary students playing or see them from a distance, so I decided to take a walk. The new playground is a beautiful place. It is still hard to believe it is part of Grace Academy's campus. I noticed three things in particular. One, the students were happy. They are spread throughout the space, not confined to a single section. This shows a good design. Two, the playground had held up well. Although it has not been open for a year yet, it is noticeable that it still looks new. Three, NO MUD, the students were clean. They were running, sliding, and falling onto the turf, receiving not a single mud stain. What a blessing.

The other major project from Summer 2024 was the roof update on the Secondary building. For many years, we dealt with dripping. Condensation would build and then release. We had buckets in the hallways, brown spots on the ceiling tiles, and water on the gym floor. NO More! We now have a proper roof over our heads, and that makes for a healthier place to learn and play.

Thank you for your support and prayers throughout the years. We had a fantastic Fun Run event, raising just over $50,000. God has been good to us at Grace Academy. He has been faithful in meeting our needs, enabling us to better serve you. What’s next? Stay tuned; we’ll see what Summer 2025 has in store.
