College/Career Planning

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) offers a way to earn college credit based on what a person already knows, not based on which classes have been taken. These credits are earned at a fraction of the cost of taking a college course. CLEP is offered by The College Board, the same company that offers the SAT and AP exams. In many ways earning college credit through CLEP is superior to concurrent credit, AP exams, or even taking college courses.

Through passing exams, students can receive college credits for the knowledge they have gained at Grace Academy, thus benefiting from a Christian education as well as enjoying their high school experience. Students who take tests in the various subject areas and receive a passing score (50 or better) can receive 3-6 credits college credits per exam, or even more! Most of these tests meet the general education requirements for college, saving you both time and up to several thousand dollars in college tuition!
